Fused Glass-Stacked Squares: Wednesday February 9, 2022 , 1:00pm-3:00pm, 16+
In this 2 hour class students will make a fun geometric dish. You will learn glass cutting basics while creating a unique piece of your own. Gayla will guide you though the steps to make your very own Stacked Square Dish! Pre-registration is required.

In this 4 week course, students will discover how temperature, volume, and surface tension effect the flow of glass during firing. Learn to utilize the flexible properties of glass to create amazing new works of art.

This course will introduce students to the possibilities of fused glass. Over 4 weeks, students will learn to cut, fuse and slump glass. We will cover many techniques to create jewelry, functional dishes, wall hangings and decorative art. This class is ideal for beginners and new glass fusers who want to improve their technique and understanding of fused glass.

Geometric Patterns in Glass
All Skill Levels: Young Adults & Adults

In this class, students will explore geometric shapes, repeating patterns, and tessellations in fused glass. Students will learn methods for designing, measuring, and laying out shapes and patterns, while practicing and refining their glass-cutting skills. No glass working experience is required; advanced students also are welcome. Please note: Advanced students are welcome to take this course and work independently with guidance from the instructor.
